The following images are drawn from my 'Painting Collection'. The works shown are a small selection of watercolour and Acrylic paintings that are a pre-selection for my exhibition at the Monserrat Gallery, NY. Click on any picture to view a larger, more detailed image. Please note that 'full frontals' within the small images have been 'blurred' to avoid offence, however the enlarged images are in full focus. Acrylic Paintings The following works reflect a new experimental departure in my paintings. I am making discrete line drawings that define the raised muscular definition of the male form, into which I then work with colour. By using hand made paper I am able to utilise the textural quality of the paper itself so that it reads as a surface form in its own right.

Watercolour Paintings Within my watercolours I try to achieve a contrast between the treatment of skin environment and sky, and where possible I try to give value to the quality of hand made paper by leaving it to speak for itself in providing the lightest tone within the picture. )
